Zheng Mohong menekan dadanya, berhenti di tiap kata.
Dia tiba-tiba sadar selama bertahun-tahun hidup sendirian dalam fantasi indah.
Keluarga yang tampak sempurna sebenarnya penuh rahasia.
Dia tak merasa apa-apa dan hampir membunuh putrinya sendiri.
"Kau sama sekali tak menyukai Yanyan. Kau bilang akan menjaganya untukku, tapi kau hanya berpura-pura, kan?" Zheng Mohong begitu gelisah hingga ingin maju menghajar Ling Liwei. Baru selangkah, wajahnya tiba-tiba berubah. Dia menekan dada dan jatuh ke lantai.
"Ayah!"
Zheng Yan berteriak cemas dan bergegas maju menopangnya.
Dia menoleh ke Butler dan berteriak, "Di mana obat ayahku? Bawakan obat penyakit jantungnya!"
"Ya!"
Butler juga terkejut. Begitu sadar, dia cepat mencari obat Zheng Mohong.
Dia memang punya penyakit jantung. Meski kondisinya tidak serius, usianya sudah tua dan tubuhnya tak sekuat dulu. Dia berhati-hati merawat diri, jadi seharusnya tak ada masalah.
Tapi stimulasi hari ini terlalu besar, jantungnya tak sanggup. Seluruh wajahnya pucat, seolah tiba-tiba tak bisa bernapas.
Zheng Yan menuang obat ke tangannya, mengambil air dari Butler dan cepat menyuapkan obat.
Beberapa saat kemudian, ekspresi Zheng Mohong akhirnya sedikit mereda.
Dia hanya menatap Ling Liwei begitu tajam hingga ingin mencincangnya jadi seribu keping!

Di Villa Keluarga Zheng, tiba-tiba dua orang hilang, dan udara seolah ikut tenang.
Zheng Mohong terengah dan meminta Zheng Yan membantunya duduk di sofa.
Dia memberi isyarat mata agar Butler membawa para pelayan di ruang tamu keluar, lalu perlahan berkata,
"Yanyan, kau gadis pintar. Kau pasti sudah tahu sejak lama Ling Liwei tak benar-benar baik padamu. Kenapa tak bilang ke ayah?"

Zheng Yan sedikit menunduk, menyerahkan segelas air ke Zheng Mohong, mengingatkannya minum lebih banyak.
